About Hybla Valley
Hybla Valley is located in Fairfax County just south of Alexandria. The population is over 15,000 residents that would have been much more if not for the reduction in area and places like Hollins HIll being moved to Fort Hunt. What started out as many farms turned to many suburban neighborhoods in the early 20th century. Hybla Valley is characterized by its rolling hills, forests, parks, and many streams. Paul Springs Valley Park runs along the eastern edge of the community. The Mason Hill subdivision here is highly affluent, but over the years the upscale Mount Vernon Plaza has come to be.
